Would you like to know more about the process?
Check out some frequently asked questions!
How far in advance should I contact you?
If you like my style, please feel free to drop me a line anytime before your wedding. Some dates are getting booked two years in advance, but some could still be available a month before the big day!
What is the charge for travelling?
Some travel expenses may apply if your wedding is more than 20 miles from Watford, Hertfordshire—please contact us for further details.
What camera do you use?
I'm a Canon shooter and use a full-frame with prime and zoom lenses.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes, every image you receive is individually retouched. For post-production, I use two programmes: Photoshop and Lightroom. The usual process is a colour and lighting adjustment for that atmospheric and unique feel, and light skin airbrushing. Some photoshoots will look different from others depending on the couple's vision and requests. Editing is the biggest part of my work. That's why I do not provide RAW or unedited files.
How soon will we get the photos?
Usually, your beautiful photos will be ready in one month. If a season is particularly busy (usually during the summer months), it might take a week or two longer. But during some less engaged times, you can expect your images in less than a month.
What is your cancellation policy?
In times of a pandemic, my cancellation and rescheduling policies are very flexible and allow you to postpone or cancel your date free of charge in case of further restrictions.
What is the booking process?
There is an easy two-step process to book your date: a signed photography contract and a paid deposit, which is 20% of your chosen package. You can always ask for a draught of the contract to go through before you decide to book.
Some of your couples look like models; we don't know how to pose...
None of the couples on the website are professional models, and almost every single one of them mentioned that they don't know how to pose. It is my job to make people feel at ease in front of the camera. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to break the ice and make anyone loosen up. Although if you are worried you'll look uneasy in your wedding photos, a pre-wedding photoshoot can help with that.
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes, I'm there to help and would stay longer for an extra cost.
