When Ada and James first reached out to me about photographing and filming their wedding at Friern Manor in Essex, I was thrilled. This was not my first time celebrating with their family. I had previously captured James’s brother’s wedding. It felt like a joyful reunion to document another chapter in their story.
Their wedding day on the sunny 25th of May 2025 was everything a spring wedding should be. It was full of warmth, laughter, beautiful personal touches, and so much love from family and friends.
A Stunning Wedding at Friern Manor in Essex
Friern Manor is an elegant wedding venue in Essex. It provided the perfect backdrop for Ada and James’ special day. They exchanged vows in the garden, surrounded by blooming flowers. The celebration continued in the manor’s gorgeous reception spaces with their nearest and dearest.
As their Essex wedding photographer and videographer, I always feel grateful to work at Friern Manor. The light, the grounds, and the team there are simply wonderful.
Special Moments from Ada & James’ Wedding Day
One of my favorite parts of the day was witnessing the close bond between Ada and James and their family. Ada’s sister, May, was not only the Maid of Honour but also did the bride’s makeup. This added a personal touch to the day. They even included their own DIY stationery details, making everything feel meaningful.
