There’s something timeless about a Wedding at Tewin Bury Farm, set in the Hertfordshire countryside, it’s a venue that offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern elegance. I had the pleasure of capturing Anna and Edwin’s special day here, and it was truly a joy from start to finish.
The day began at the beautiful St Stephen’s Church in St Albans, where Anna and Edwin exchanged heartfelt vows. The church ceremony was filled with emotion, and the architecture gave us some truly stunning backdrops for those intimate, meaningful moments.
The vow exchange was deeply moving—authentic, emotional, and full of love. It was a joy to witness and capture such a real, heartfelt moment between two people so clearly meant for each other.
After the ceremony, we made our way to Tewin Bury Farm for the reception—and what a setting it was. Surrounded by lush greenery and open fields, the venue offered the perfect backdrop for relaxed portraits and candid moments. The barns and beautiful countryside scenery gave the whole day a warm, inviting atmosphere.
From the laughter-filled speeches to the golden-hour couple portraits, everything flowed naturally. Anna and Edwin were so easy to photograph—just being themselves, full of joy and connection. Their guests kept the energy alive right through to the first dance and into the evening, with the dancefloor packed from start to finish.
As a wedding photographer, I love working at Tewin Bury Farm—it’s one of those venues that just has a bit of magic to it. Whether it’s the way the light hits the fields at sunset or the cosy charm of the barns, it’s a place that makes every wedding feel unique.
